Update!!
We received some awesome suggestions from a few of you and would like to post it here to update the rest of you.
A few more ways to save money while traveling
- Apply for a Southwest Airline credit card, with your first purchase (a pack of gum) you get 16 Reward Points which equals to a free roundtrip flight to anywhere Southwest flies. So you can get a free flight to/from California and from California a roundtrip flight to Honolulu is about $300. SAVINGS OF $400!!! (note- there is a $59/annual fee, but you can cancel the card once you're back home)
- Sign up for Travelzoo (http://www.travelzoo.com/) and Air Fare Watch Dog (www.airfarewatchdog.com) to receive email alerts for unadvertised deals. I just received one from Travelzoo for a $465 roundtrip flight from Washington DC to Honolulu! SAVINGS of $235!!
- Diana's Dad hosts a travel website that provides some great deals as well. Check it out! http://ytbtravel.com/doug6601
- Government, AAA, senior citizen, military rates provide steep discounts on flights and hotel rooms
Hotel Suites for groups of 4 or more people
Some of you are also considering sharing a hotel suite with 4-6 people. Waikiki has quite a few hotels that can accommodate this. Here are a few that are highly rated:

Aloha!
You are invited to our wedding in Hawaii on 10/11/2011! Our hope is to share this wonderful life celebration with our beloved family and friends in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. This website was made especially for you to keep you informed about our wedding events and to provide you with some very valuable information about the island.
While we are having a destination wedding, we hope that you will also turn this trip into your own Hawaiian vacation. Although we will host a few wedding events and of course our wedding, please do think about coming a few days early and/or stay a few days late to take advantage of the exciting adventures the island has to offer!
“Surf” through our links on this site to get specific information about our wedding location, flight and hotel information, and fun things to do while you’re there. Visit our guestbook and send us any comments or questions and be sure to return often as we will be updating our site throughout the year.
